I sometimes have difficulties communicating on TS. When I first open TS in Windows XP and CSS after that, all goes well. But when I minimalize CSS to alter the volume of my mic for example, TS gets a lot of noise for some reason and that will not go away.
Ever heart of this problem? I have it on both mics I have, a Logitech and a Sennheiser. Both are quality brands, so that should not be the reason. Can someone help me out? Heard about this TS problem from Snowflake. Anyone else have the same (wiz? maybe? ) I used to have it ages ago when I had too little RAM on my pc. However I do have a solution that i can offer.... Set up a shortcut key in TS to adjust your volume in game - so u dont have to jump out to desktop just for that. You can do this in "keys/settings" menu in TS.

For eg. if i need to sneeze i mute my mic with the keyboard and un-mute it after. However i checked & u cannot adjust mic volume - only total volume (what u hear in TS). I posted how to mute your MIC HERE anywaysoz not really much help

When you run a game, it starts loading its data, including the data that tells your soundcard/drivers what to do, (load 5.1 settings, use stereo, etc) Basicly its the same as the resolution, for example, when having your desktop resolution set to 1024X768, and the game is at 800X600, and you minimize the game, the chances are likely you will witness your desktop in 800X600 resolution for some time. Its the same with sound, it depends on how the game defines/uses the sound settings. This most likely causes the interruption with your TS which detects the "distortion" of game/system sound. Try using a push to talk button is my advice.
